Our Little Cheer leader!

Jacey with Kinzie and Raelynn
Jacey went to cheer camp this week. She had a great time and hated for it to be over. I am surprised at how well she does as a cheerleader. She has great rhythm!

They cheered at the pep rally and also performed their dance!

Samuel and Daddy watching Jacey cheer!

They cheered during the first quarter of the game with the high school cheer leaders. She is growing up too quickly.

Corn Harvest Fun!

Corn harvest has officially begun! My boys favorite time of year is HARVEST! I took Samuel and Jakob and his friend Nash out after school to ride for a couple hours while Jacey was at cheer camp. Jakob would love to be out there everyday all day long during harvest. He is my farm boy. Jakob has loved to go with Jarret and ride equipment since we moved back to farm and he was not even 2. Samuel does not have as much interest yet but I think he will.

After cheer camp we brought out supper to the guys. It was a beautiful day and wish we could have spent more time out in the field but school comes first. The guys cut until about nine and then the corn tested too wet again so maybe tomorrow!

Kallahan's Birthday Weekend

My sweet nephew Kallahan turns one on September 19. It is amazing how quickly a year flies by, it seems like just yesterday we were in Garden City waiting for him to be born. Keeler and Kallahan are both very special to me and I was able to witness them being born-that is one the most amazing gifts!

We had a great weekend making decorations for the big birthday bash. His birthday theme was little red wagon. I helped Kelley by making a big one made out of a year's worth of snapshots of our sweet baby. It was fun to see how much he has changed in a matter of a year.

The party was a blast and we hated to leave, but we are looking forward to seeing them again on October 8.

Jakob's Birthday Party

Jakob had a swimming party after school on Friday. He invited all the kids in his class. Most of the boys in fifth grade were able to come except for a couple. The weather was not the greatest but it didn't seem to bother the kids at all.

They were able to get 14 kids into the hot tub.

After the party we had a cookout with family and the Whitakers. Jakob also invited Hayden, Nash and Dylan to spend the night. They had a blast playing in the barn even though it was cool and rainy.

After the cookout we went back home and the boys enjoyed playing tractors, nerf fights and pillow fights. Jakob had a wonderful birthday party and was sad to see it end.

Wee School Begins!

Another year of Wee School has begun. Let me begin by saying that Samuel has been helping/attending Wee School since he was 6 weeks old. Last year I decided to quit teaching Wee School so Samuel could go to school without his mom. He did wonderful so I decided when they asked me to teach again this year it would be fine for me to return. Samuel's teacher is Ms. Cindy and he loves her and going to school.

We both had a great day! I have 6 (4 boys and 2 girls) children in my three year old class. It is going to be a wonderful school year.

Football Begins!

We had an extremely busy and fun weekend. Pa Diddy and Grandma came out to our new house on Friday and we spent most of the day trimming our trees. They look great and we owe them big time. On Saturday, the kids started the morning with Daddy. They went out to the farm and checked fields on the Gator.

Next we went to Jade's Fifth Birthday Party. It was a rodeo theme party complete with a construction cake, cowboy boot pinata and cow balloons. We all had a great time. Before Jakob's football practice we decided to go swim. Samuel and Jacey played dress up while Jakob was at practice.

We walked up to the field to watch Jakob practice and visit with the other mom's and kids.
On Sunday we went to church and then went to brunch at Grandpa and Grandma's. After brunch we went to watch Laura play in her tennis tournament. She won 1st in the tournament. It was exciting to see her play. Then we went out to the new house to work on the outside bar/serving table and the media room. Of course we ended the evening with a swim!
